Infrastructure and security review covering internal tooling, network services, and cloud infrastructure. Identified gaps in monitoring and threat visibility across VPN, GitLab, and hosted services. Delivered actionable recommendations for improved observability and incident awareness, implemented within the agreed timeframe.
Pfotenbilanz
A SaaS platform for Swiss pet-care businesses. Customer and pet management, service tracking, automated invoice generation with Swiss QR-Bill support, VAT, and financial reporting. Built from scratch, actively maintained, and used daily by multiple businesses.

Kim Thönen
Founded in October 2021, Thoenen Solutions is run by Kim Thönen, an IT engineer based in Fehraltorf, Switzerland.
Kim has been working in IT since 2013, spanning network infrastructure and server administration to web development and custom software. The technical stack covers Linux servers, network configuration, cloud infrastructure, and modern web technologies. Every project is carefully documented to remain manageable long-term.
Unlike many IT consultants, we don't just advise. We design, build, and take responsibility for what we deliver. Every engagement ends with something real: a working system, a launched product, a documented infrastructure, and a client who knows exactly what they have.
